Monument to A.V. Pastukhov
Description:
The monument is located on the top of Mount Mashuka and is one of the main historical sights. It should be noted that it is dedicated to the Russian mountaineer who made many great ascents and discoveries in the Caucasus.
The monument stands right on the site of Pastukhov's grave. And only in May 1903 began work on the construction of the monument, and on May 3 of the same year the tombstone was officially opened in honor of the great Russian climber-researcher, gathered many caring people.
