Monument to V.I. Lenin

The monument to the leader V.I. Lenin is located in the heart of the city of Pyatigorsk.

For more than four decades, it has pleased residents of the city, as well as tourists.

The sculptor A.M. Portyapko, architects V.V. Bogdanov and V.P. Sokolov worked on it.

Numerous residents of the city helped in the construction of the monument.

Excavations were made by students and workers. The majestic monument flaunts in its place of honor near the Eternal Flame.
