This main church of our city and district was built in 1852 at the expense of the owners of the paper spinning factory, merchants of the Malyutin brothers, with the support of the local landowner Anna Alexandrovna Golitsina. In 1889, at the expense of the Malyutin Industrial and Trade Association, chapels were added to it in the name of the Assumption of the Mother of God, the Archangel Michael, the first apostles Peter and Paul and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and a bell tower was built. The parish of the Trinity Church included the village of Ramenskoye, the villages of Klisheva, Dergaevo, Igumnovo, Dementyevo, Donino and Popovka.
