Stepanovskoye Estate
Description:
Stepanovskoye estate in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region once belonged to N.R. Zakharyin-Yuriev, the ancestor of the Romanov dynasty, Russian tsars. Boyarin Nikita Romanovich, who is the brother of Queen Anastasia - the first wife of Ivan the Terrible, received this ancient patrimony for the faithful service of the tsar when he returned from the campaign after the capture of Kazan. At the same time, a one-headed Annunciation Church with two chapels was erected in the Stepanovskoye estate. After a while the temple was rebuilt.
The fate of the estate is sad. The owners did not care about him, the estate was dilapidated, saved on everything. The last owner of the estate visited it only once in his life.
At the moment, restoration work is being carried out in the temple and surrounding annexes.
