Excursion to Kizhi Island

- Landing on the "Meteor" (a hydrofoil boat) at the pier in Petrozavodsk.
- Flight departure.
- Transition on Lake Onega to Kizhi Island (1 hour 30 minutes).

- Arrival at the museum-reserve "Kizhi".
The time of stay on the island from June to August is 4 hours, in autumn from September 1 - 3 hours.

Walking tour of the island (2 hours 15 minutes).
Inspection of the monuments of the Kiga architectural ensemble, a visit to the peasant estate, acquaintance with traditional ancient crafts.
You will see the 22-headed Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the bell tower - the estate of a Zaonezh peasant, the chapel of Archangel Michael, a complex of agricultural buildings (barn, mill, bathhouse, etc.), the Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus.
You will be able to visit the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God and see the preserved masterpieces of Karelian icon painting, as well as go to one of the peasant houses.

- After the tour, free time.
In your free time, you can walk around the island or order additional programs: a ride on a horse bucket, a boat, a bicycle, a master class in traditional crafts, the sacrament of restoration, etc.
Additional programs are ordered and paid for locally.

- Departure of the Meteor from the island.
- Transition on Lake Onega (1 hour 30 minutes).
- Arrival in Petrozavodsk.

From 20 to 25 June – you can visit the main exposition, including excursion services. Open: Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, the house of Oshevnev. Additional services: climbing to the bell tower of the Kizhsky churchyard, bicycle excursions, visiting the forge.

From June 26, it is planned to open other interior expositions: the house of Elizarov, the house of Sergeev, the house of Yakovlev. The museum store is reopening.
