Excursion to the waterfall White bridges

Departure from Petrozavodsk to the White Bridges waterfall (220 km, the journey is about 3.5 hours).

Walking along the forest road to the waterfall (3.5 km one way and back 3.5 km).

- Inspection of the waterfall White Bridges (Yukankoski).
This is the highest waterfall in South Karelia, its height is 19 meters.
You can see almost untouched by civilization magical corner of Karelian nature.

- Transfer to the Ruskeala Mountain Park (75 km from the waterfall).

- Arriving in a mountain park. Time spent in the park is 3 hours.

- 16.30-18.30 Walking tour of the marble canyon.
Duration: 1.5-2 hours. Length: 2,600 m.
The old and abandoned quarry of stone mining, developed for almost three centuries, is now equipped for tourists.
You will pass in the "dry tunnel" and visually get acquainted with the history of mining.
The failure of the "marble heart" will allow you to look into the underground part of the park, and the Italian quarry will please with unique marble.

- 18.30-19.30 Free time in the mountain park.

- 19.30 Departure to Petrozavodsk.

- On the way to visit Ruskeal waterfalls (Akhinkoski), where the filming of the film "And the dawns are quiet here" took place.
