This tour covers the vast region of Karelia. We will visit the most interesting places of Sev. Ladoga and Eastern Finland. Russian and Finnish Karelia (Karyala). Thanks to a stay in a hotel in the Russian territory, the trip has a relatively low cost.
We are waiting for unique natural objects, the history of which dates back to the formation of the planet’s geology. The remains of relict mountains, waterfalls, traces of the ice age, the history of ancient ethnic groups that inhabited these territories and, of course, unique landscapes that will open from a bird's eye view.
The trip starts from St. Petersburg with stops in the Ruskeala Mountain Park (Marble Canyon), Akhvenkoski Falls. Stay at a hotel near the border with Finland. The second day starts with crossing the border. Visit the national park and move to the city. Imatra where we are waiting for a unique spectacle, the dumping of a huge mass of water from Lake Saimaa into the Vuoksa bed. Crossing the border near Vyborg and returning to St. Petersburg.
