A forest tale

Do you want a real New Year holiday with family and friends? Looking for a tree in the woods, a winter fair, sledging and buckets? Go for the New Year holidays in Karelia. You will get acquainted with reindeer, walk through the forest on skis, participate in winter fun and ride in a husky harness. No organizational hassle, just a festive mood!

Day 1 Meet the Husky and the reindeer

After the meeting at the Petrozavodsk station, you will go on an excursion to the sled dogs nursery. Here you will get acquainted with reindeer, Siberian and Alaskan husky and ride along the snow-covered track on a dog sled. Walk along the Karelian courtyard and have lunch in a real yaranga - a portable dwelling of nomadic peoples of the north.

Then you will go to the base, where you will live for the next few days. The move will take about 4 hours, during which time the guides will entertain you with games and stories.

Arriving at the base, you will stay in cottages, have dinner and spend the evening in games for acquaintance.

Day 2 Holiday quest and master classes

Today you are waiting for the game-quest “hunting for a tree”. Taking skis, a compass and a map, you will go in search of a Christmas tree.

When it is found, our guides will hold a master class for you to create Christmas decorations and gifts. You will be given all the necessary materials and show interesting needlework techniques. You need only imagination and desire to make something with your own hands.

At the New Year’s race closer to midnight, the festive dinner starts. You are waiting for treats, games, competitions, fireworks and gifts. It will be fun and interesting for both children and adults.

Day 3 Rest in the fresh air

After a late breakfast, you will have an active rest in the fresh air. You will walk on skis in the snow-capped forest, ride on sleds and "katrushki".

The day of street entertainment will end with a warming dinner and games by the fireplace in the living room. “Mafia”, “Crocodile”, “Imaginarium” – our guides know many ways to spend an interesting evening.

In the Christmas race this evening you will have a festive dinner by candlelight.

Day 4 Lasertag

Today you will find an exciting team game - laser tag. You will split into two teams and shoot at opponents with a laser blaster-machine gun. The game is as safe as possible: the defeat is fixed by special sensors, there are no bruises or abrasions after such a game, but bright emotions and fun are provided to you.

After lunch, we suggest you go for a ski walk around the neighborhood. In the evening you will have dinner and rest.

Day 5 festive fair

Would you like to visit the festive fair? Unusual - you can pay here only with special coins. You will get them for passing competitions and competitions, and spend on local souvenirs and sweets.

After lunch you will have free time. Guides know a lot of games, so that will not be bored neither adults nor children. After dinner you will pack your bags, and at 21:00 there will be a transfer to Lodeynoye Field station, from where you will go home by night train.
