Day 1 Acquaintance with Karelia

After the meeting at the railway station of Petrozavodsk, a transfer to Pudozh is waiting for you. The path will pass along an asphalt road and will take about 4.5 hours.
Upon arrival at Pudoge, you will meet the crews on SUVs. Have lunch, then get in the car and start driving along the route.
After about 40-50 minutes, the road will start off-road: you will make your way through marsh forests with a marble, wind between trees, cross fords and swampy areas, stone roads and sandy shores.
In the evening, you will arrive at Cape Besov Nose and camp. Simultaneously with the installation of the camp, a dinner with dishes on the grill is organized.

Day 2 Day at Cape Demons Nose

The day will pass without rush. You will find a late rise, a hearty breakfast and walks. Closer to lunch, you will walk to an ancient wooden lighthouse and petroglyphs on the rocks. This is a unique place where rock paintings of an ancient man, which are included in the list of UNESCO sites, have been preserved. Washed by the waves of Onega, they literally go under water year after year. The collection of petroglyphs is considered the most mysterious monument of Karelia, and the place has an extraordinary power.

The name of the cape is not accidental, among all petroglyphs, the drawing of a demon resembling a man, more than 2 meters long, dominates, and this cave drawing was created about 5000 years ago. Surprisingly, next to the image of the demon, a cross is painted, presumably from the birth of Christianity in Russia, as well as animals, plants and marvelous inexplicable patterns. All the rock paintings are spread over almost 20 km of the coastal zone on the capes and islets. The places are entangled with mythical and astrological stories about the appearance.
You can relax in a hammock on the bank of the river, walk, enjoy places and photography. Or you can fish, sitting in a cozy chair on the shore (fitting you need to take your own).

You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the cape and its surroundings from the water, going on a boat trip to the islands and other shores (in good weather).
During the day, a hearty lunch will be organized, and in the evening at a large fire in a friendly company you will prepare kebabs.

Day 3 Murom Cape and Monastery

In the morning after breakfast, you will gather camp and go on your way. You will find the Murom Monastery - a monastery hidden from a person on the cape of the same name surrounded by swamps, lakes and dense forests. The monastery was founded in the XIV century by St. Lazar of Murom and is considered one of the oldest in Karelia. It preserves centuries of history and is restored through virtues.
The route will go to amazing places, the path will be beautiful and difficult. Hovering through forests and swamps, you will arrive at the place of overnight stay. Set up camp on a sand spit surrounded by pine forest and have dinner by the fire.

Day 4 Returning home

The morning will begin with a breakfast in nature overlooking Lake Onega. Then you will walk a little, get acquainted with the monastery and the history of the monastery.
By lunch you will arrive in Pudozh, from where a comfortable minibus will take you to the railway station in Petrozavodsk.
