Arrival at Ruskealsky waterfalls is the place where the famous film directed by Stanislav Rostotsky “And the dawns are quiet here” was filmed. Amazingly picturesque nature invariably attracts the creators of modern films with its mysterious beauty and some mysterious power. In 2010, a fantasy film “The Dark World” was shot here.

Here are the magical marble lakes. Until the middle of the XIX century, decorative marbles were broken in these quarries to decorate churches and palaces of St. Petersburg, fountains of Petrodvorets, columns of Tsarskoye Selo and Gatchina. Ruskeala Mountain Park is a unique complex monument of nature and the history of mining. The pearl of the Mountain Park is the Marble Canyon. The banks of the canyon, vertically towering above the emerald surface of the water, are permeated with surface and underwater tunnels, tracks and mines.

Excursion to the first Russian resort founded by Peter I - "Martial Waters". The uniqueness of the resort is the presence of rare and record-breaking iron mineral waters. Peter I repeatedly came to the resort to be treated with his family and court nobles. Several self-draining wells are currently being operated. During the tour you will be able to taste the water from these sources.

Visit the Kivach reserve, which is famous for the waterfall of the same name - the second largest plain waterfall in Europe. Kivach waterfall is sung by many poets and artists. A truly beautiful corner of Karelia is not in vain awarded such attention, and you will have to make sure of this. But the waterfall is not the only attraction located on the territory of the reserve. You will have the opportunity to see a dendro collection of unique plants, including Karelian birch.
