Winter at Xiamozero

Day 1 Jamozeria

In the morning you will be met at the station and taken for breakfast in a cafe. Then you will go to the place of the beginning of the route - to the base in the village of Chalna (20 km from Petrozavodsk). Here you will be accommodated in a guest house, pick up equipment and equipment, as well as pass instructions on snowmobile management and safe driving techniques.

Then you will go on snowmobiles to the ring route: the village of Chalna - the tract of the River - the Malaya Suna River - Lake Syamozero - the tract of the River - the village of Chalna. It passes through the forest road and forest lakes-lambushki. On the way you will have a snack in nature.

In the village of Syapsya you will visit the zoo complex "Three Bears" - listen to the habits and habits of wild animals and even be able to feed them.

In the evening you will return to the guest house, have dinner and relax in the bath.

The length of the snowmobile route is 120 km.

Day 2 The Old Village of Watchela

After breakfast, you will take a radial route to the ancient village of Watchela. On the way, visit the Karelian villages of Alekka on Syamozero, Ruga, Vokhtozero and the village of Nelgmozero. The route will also pass through Lake Vatchelskoye and the Keniki and River tracts.

The ancient village of Vatchela is located on a tiny island. With the shore it is connected by a narrow embankment, which was built by hand. Here you will see the old Karelian houses, the dilapidated church and listen to the history of this place. On the lake you will make a stop and have lunch. This is one of the Karelian lakes in which ore was mined for the ironworks in the village of Konchozero, built by decree of Peter I.

In the evening you will return to the guest house. Here you will have dinner, drink tea from Karelian herbs and relax in a Russian bath.

Day 3 Marcial waters

Today, after breakfast, you will find a snowmobile route to the village of Marcial Waters. You will pass through the lakes Urozero, Ukshezero, Konchezero and the village of Tsarevichi.

Then you will arrive at Marcial Waters, the first Russian resort founded by Peter the Great in 1719 on the basis of glandular mineral springs. These springs are called “martial waters” in honor of Mars, the god of war and iron. During the tour of the resort you will taste mineral water from three sources, go to the museum and visit the Church of the Apostle Peter - one of the preserved monuments of the XVIII century in Karelia.

Then you will have lunch and take snowmobiles back to the village of Chalna. Returning to the guest house, you will hand over your equipment and snowmobiles, take a shower and have dinner. Then you will be taken to Petrozavodsk, from where you will go to Moscow by night train.
