Quest tour. In Paramonov's footsteps
Description:
When it comes to Rostov-on-Don brands, the first thing that comes to mind is Rostov merchants!
Asmolov, Paramonov, Maksimov, Maltov, Suprunov, ... — the list of names of merchants who contributed to the history of the development of southern Rostov, can take several pages. Around these names there are many amazing stories, legends and anecdotes.
Our excursion is about one of the largest figures of Don business, about a grain merchant, a shipowner, a merchant of the 1st guild - Paramonov Elpidifor Trofimovich and his sons.
The history of this merchant could have been the bible of a businessman if he had lived in our time.
During the tour you will learn:
Where in Rostov is Paramonovsky district?
How did the Paramonovs earn their millions and where did they spend them?
What was the difference between a 1st Guild merchant and a 2nd Guild merchant?
What were the rules for merchants, bankers, commissioners, and in general for every person engaged in business?
The tour will be interesting:
- both Rostov residents and guests of the city!
- both adults and children!
Because this tour is a quest!
I.e., this is an entertaining “tramp”, during which, in a playful form, we find tasks related to Paramonov, guess logical problems, learn merchant rules of life, earn “penny” and, at the end of the quest, become “Rostov merchants” with “guild testimonies”!
In general, we spend our free time interestingly and informatively!
