Demetrius Church
Description:
The history of the construction of the Dimitrievsky Church began in September 1996, when in the presence of the city administration and parishioners, Archbishop Panteleimon of Rostov and Novocherkassk consecrated the place of its future construction.
In 2000, the construction of the temple began according to the project of architect J. P. Voloshin. In 2001, a temporary parish of the Dimitriev Church opened in a converted old railway car.
The temple was finally completed in 2004 and consecrated by Archbishop Panteleimon.
Currently, a Sunday school and a charity canteen are open at the church.
