Monument-bust of Lermontov

The monument-bust of Lermontov is located in Lermontov Square and was opened in 2007 for City Day. The bust was made in the 1970s, but all the time it lay in the warehouse of the plant and was installed only 30 years later.

Despite the long storage time in the warehouse and even offers to sell the bust, the director of the enterprise managed to preserve it and today it is a decoration of the square.

The monument is a granite pedestal on which a bronze bust weighing 930 kilograms rises. Lermontov is depicted in a uniform with lieutenant's epaulets.
