Monument "Tachanka-Rostovka"

Somewhere here, between Bataysk and Rostov-on-Don, almost a hundred years ago there were battles between the armies of Budyonny and Denikin. Now there is a popular monument dedicated to the legendary First Cavalry Army.

"Tachanka Rostovka" - a name from those distant times. This is a cart with a machine gun pointing back. 15-meter reinforced concrete, created by architect Ibalkov and sculptors Batyai, Sknarin and Kosolapov, it is now rushing to meet the enemy. Horses almost stand on racks, spokes in wheels and reins are not visible because of the rapid movement, machine gun crew is ready to feed the enemies with lead.

This building, popular among the newlyweds and guests of the city, is a great example of historical and cultural heritage, a monument worth seeing.
