Panteleimon Church
Description:
The construction of the Panteleimon Church began in 1996 on the initiative of the Director of the Oncology Institute, Academician of the RAMS Yuri Sidorenko, who himself created sketches. The project was implemented by architect G.I. Begalov.
The consecration of the temple, built on the territory of the park named after N. Ostrovsky, took place on April 9, 1997. In 1999, a large two-storey building with a bell tower was built next to the church - the Training and Consulting Point of the branch of the Moscow St. Tikhon Theological Institute. A chapel was also built in 2004.
