- Day 2. Murom, sightseeing tour + boat trip + Diveevo, tour of the monastery
Meeting with a guide in Murom.
Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of Murom.
We will walk through Murom, a city where antiquity does not hide behind museum windows, but breathes in unison with today. Let’s start with the Holy Trinity Women’s Monastery – it is here, in the Trinity Cathedral, that the relics of Saints Peter and Fevronia, the patrons of the family and conjugal fidelity, rest. Here, at the relics, history turns into a living tradition: pilgrims come for comfort, newlyweds - for blessing, and all who seek support, find it in the legend of love that has survived the ages. Next is the Annunciation Monastery, where the rustle of ancient lindens seems to retell the lines of the XVI century: in these walls even the wind keeps echoes of prayers raised under Ivan the Terrible. And finally, the Transfiguration Monastery, whose monumentality speaks without words: its white-stone walls, which survived the storms of history, became a stone chronicle of faith, perseverance and rebirth. This tour is not a chronicle of dates, but a journey through the layers of time, where the chime of the bells echoes the rhythm of modern life, and meeting with the past gives a sense of the eternal - that does not age, does not dim and continues to warm hearts. In Murom, the story is not shown - it is revealed: quietly but perceptibly, forever.
A boat ride on the Oka.
Smoothly gliding along the mirror surface of the Oka, the ship opens Moore from a completely different angle - as seen by merchants and pilgrims centuries ago. The golden heads of the monasteries soar into the sky above the green banks, and the ancient walls reflected in the river surface seem part of a magical mirage. On the open deck, fresh wind plays with hair, seagulls accompany the ship with screams, and in the air the aromas of river freshness and flowering meadows are mixed.

Departure to Diveevo.
Excursion on the territory of Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo convent.
A sightseeing tour of the Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery leads from the Kazan Cathedral - the oldest temple of the monastery - to the heart of the monastery: the Trinity Cathedral, where the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov rest. Along the way, you will see the snow-white Transfiguration Cathedral with its shrines and the majestic 78-meter bell tower, whose chime every fifteen minutes fills the space with special awe. The culmination of the route is the Holy Gutter of the Most Holy Theotokos: the path laid by the order of St. Seraphim. Walking along it and reading the prayer, you will feel a connection with thousands of pilgrims who have passed here for centuries. Accompanying - an employee of the monastery - not only talks about architecture and history, but also shares living legends about miracles, the fate of nuns and the meaning of shrines. Her words turn the walk into a spiritual journey, helping to feel why Diveevo is called “the earthly lot of the Virgin”.

Day 3. Arzamas, sightseeing tour + Nizhny Novgorod, sightseeing tour + cable car
Breakfast.
Departure to Arzamas.
City tour.
Let’s start with Cathedral Square: here, in the heart of the city, the Resurrection Cathedral stands majestically frozen – its colonnade, like a strict frame, frames the heavenly blue, and the stone vaults keep the memory of folk labors and prayers of two hundred years ago. A little to the side lurked St. Nicholas Monastery – a quiet harbor, where even the wind whispers about the miracles associated with the icon found at the end of the XX century. Then - the living room, where the brick facades with carved casings and forged visors seem to talk to each other, recalling the times when under these vaults thundered trades and coins rang. And then, through the lace of old linden, the silhouette of the Transfiguration Cathedral appears - its strict lines and half-erased frescoes tell about the centuries when the ringing of bells was the voice of the city. In this journey through stone and time, you don’t just see buildings, you hear Arzamas breathe.
Departure to Nizhny Novgorod.
Lunch ())
Sightseeing tour of Nizhny Novgorod.
Let’s walk through Nizhny Novgorod – a city where the earth itself breathes history, and the space is woven from contrasts: antiquity here is not hidden behind museum glass, but lives in the rhythm of a modern metropolis. Let’s start with the Kremlin – its powerful walls and towers, like guardians of the ages, keep the memory of battles, councils and solemn entrances; from its heights, a panorama opens, from which it is breathtaking. Let’s go down to Nizhny Posad – here, among merchant mansions and cobbled streets, as if the XIX century has frozen: each house, each arch tells about trade caravans, ringing fairs and fates intertwined with the fate of the city. On the National Unity Square, the legend of Minin and Pozharsky comes to life – here time slows down, allowing you to feel the gravity and grandeur of what our ancestors did. Next is the Chkalov staircase, a twisted spiral connecting sky and water: climbing its steps, you feel the city opening up before you, like an open book. A little to the side lurked the Church of the Cathedral of the Most Holy Mother of God - its elegant chapters and patterned masonry as if descended from ancient Russian miniatures, reminding that beauty is born of patience and skill. And nearby majestically rises Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - its golden domes, reflected in the river surface, seem to be a bridge between the earth and the sky. And here we are at the confluence of the Oka and the Volga - here, where two mighty rivers meet to continue the path together, you understand: Nizhny Novgorod is not just a point on the map, but a place where times, fates and elements converge, creating a unique symphony of life.
A cable car ride.
When the cabin of the cable car smoothly soars over the Volga, the city opens up as a living panoramic pattern: at the bottom a river flows, overflowing with steel and azure, and along the banks a pattern of red roofs, golden domes and green squares. In the silence, you can hear only the rustle of the cable and the distant hum of the city; time slows down, allowing you to see how the sun shines on the ancient windows, and the wind sways the crowns on the promenade. From a height, you can see how the past and the present are woven together: the silhouettes of the monastery and the Kremlin walls coexist with modern quarters. In these moments, floating between the sky and the earth, you feel the quiet but clear voice of the city - its history, spaciousness and quiet pride that remains in the memory forever.

Departure to Gorokhovets.
Sightseeing tour of the city. Walking along Gorokhovets, as if flipping through the manuscript vault of centuries: let’s start with Lenin Street, where in the carved patterns of carved embellishments and in the masonry of merchants’ chambers of the XVII century froze slowly to become a Russian trading city – here every house seems to whisper about the affairs of bygone days, about the ringing coin, about the caravans that went along the Volga-Oka. From the old street, we go up to the Holy Trinity Nikolsky Monastery: its white-stone walls and golden heads raised above the river surface hold the sky, and in the silence of the monastery you can hear only rare bells and whispers of wind in the crowns. From the territory of the former Gorokhovetsky Kremlin, a panorama opens, from which the heart freezes: the river winds below, its waters reflect clouds and coastal forests, and in the distance, on the horizon, dissolve in the haze of the field and forest – so our ancestors saw the world, in the harmony of the earth, water and sky. And finally, Bald Mountain: its gentle slopes, overgrown with grasses and rare pines, keep traces of ancient rituals and beliefs; standing on top, you feel the city, the river and the forest merge into a single picture, where the past is not gone, but lives in every stone, in every breath of wind, in the quiet voice of the earth that remembers everything.
