We invite you to an exciting tour of the hinterlands of the Volgograd region! We go on a journey through the history of our country through the cultural heritage of small villages.

Arrival in Zhirnovsk 13.06.2025, at 21:00, dinner at the hotel (for an additional fee), 16.06.2025 - breakfast at the hotel, at 9:00 the start of the tour.

1st day 1st. We will visit the places of the former tent camp of German prisoners of war in the Rudnyansky district. 2.Acquaintance with religious and historical sites. The current Temple of Archangel Michael a R.P.Rudnya 3. Learn the history of dilapidated churches of the 19th century with preserved frescoes inside in the village of Lopukhovka. You will learn the legends of these places, visit the house of a local resident with a Russian stove. You can draw water from the well yourself. 4. The old mill and the Nikolsky temple in the village of Orekhovo will acquaint you with the history of the estate of Count Orlov-Denisov, the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812. 5. We will visit the places described in the novel “The Quiet Don” by Sholokhov and learn the history of the local Cossacks. 6.We will visit the large functioning Epiphany Church in the village of Ostrovsky, built on ancient technology. 7. The last point of the route will be a windmill, built according to ancient drawings in the Tarasov farm. The tour includes an organized picnic on the spring.

Day 2.

Breakfast at the hotel

3rd day

In the village of Nizhnya Dobrinka you will admire the monument of industrial architecture - the Borel Mill, a true masterpiece of German culture, which impresses with its majesty and tells stories about the past.

Then we will visit the Church of the Nativity, built in the style of late classicism according to the designs of architect Joseph Ivanovich Charlemagne in 1838-1839. And for adventurers and romantics, we offer a mysterious place - Maryin Utes on the banks of the Medveditsa River. Here you will find amazing legends and fascinating walks through the picturesque surroundings. Breakfast at the hotel 09:00 - Departure to the village of Nizhny Dobrinka: Excursion to the Church of the Nativity of Christ с 11:00 - Visit to the picturesque surroundings of Maryin Utes; picnic on the riverbank с 13:00 - Return to the hotel с 16:00 - Departure to the railway station
