Ruz District Museum of Local Lore
About the company:
The Ruz District Museum of Local Lore is one of the oldest museums in the Moscow region. The history of the museum dates back to the beginning of the last century, when a museum of the local region was created at the expense of the district sobriety committee in 1906. Over the following decades, its position ranged from a flourishing state to the threat of closure. The revival of the museum began in the mid-60s. Twice more he will change his addresses, until finally he finds his permanent residence in a two-storey merchant house of the early nineteenth century in the historic center of the city. At all times, the priority in the activities of the museum was working with schoolchildren. Launched in 2011, the new interactive program “Museum in a Suitcase” managed to gain a positive reputation and friendly reviews. Her idea is to quickly deploy a mobile exhibition in which museum objects can be manipulated, which is especially important for children as they explore the world actively and practically. The thematic exposition fits in one or more suitcases with museum exhibits. The purpose of the project is to provide an opportunity for children of rural schools of the Ruza district to get acquainted with the exhibits and expositions of the local history museum: through surprise, vivid emotions to create an atmosphere of learning with entertainment. This form of work is intended for people geographically remote from the district center, which is especially important for rural children of primary school age. Our land for many centuries covered with unfading glory of military exploits. About these pages of the Ruza district tells the military-patriotic project "Russian Shield", intended for students of grades 5-7. The subjects of classes are oriented to the school curriculum, and the interactive form of training, obtaining “knowledge through hands” help to feel the “breath of the era”.
