Ryazan State Circus

Ryazan State Circus was opened in 1971. Before that, circus performances were given by visiting circus troupes in temporary premises. In 1927, a summer boardwalk circus was built in Ryazan, which in 1929-1931 was leased for circus performances. The modern circus has two arenas, one for rehearsals, the other for performances. The circus is designed for 1,700 spectators. There is a circus hotel for artists.

In the arena of the Ryazan circus, such famous artists as Yuri Nikulin, Margarita Nazarova, the Zapashny brothers, Yuri Kuklachev and others performed. Here are not only circus performances, but also performances of domestic and foreign pop stars. On the first floor of the circus you can buy souvenirs of circus themes, there is an opportunity to take pictures with circus animals.
