Solotchi's Breath
Description:
On the excursion we will visit the suburb of Ryazan Solotchu, where in 1390 the Ryazan prince Oleg founded the monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God and learn about the monastery historical facts and legends. Then we will follow Paustovsky’s path and understand how he was connected with Solotch and why the star of world cinema M. Dietrich was awestruck by the classics of Soviet literature. Next, we will look at the house-museum of the artist - engraver I. Pozhastin, where we will get acquainted with his unusual fate and engravings, on which he worked all his life.
Then we will see the monument to Saints Peter and Fevronia, located next to Solotcha in the village of Laskovo, from where, according to legend, Fevronia was born and learn the story of their love and loyalty.
In the final part of the tour, we will visit the amazing museum of rural life "Parent House", created by the Golobokov family couple - Alexei and Elena and plunge into Russian antiquity. The museum presents unique exhibits: a weaving mill of the 19th century, millstones, stupas, a baby cradle of 1825, pottery and copper dishes of the 19th century, a selection of samovars, sewing machines, irons ... You will be able to take a photo in peasant costumes with a rogue at the stove, with wooden buckets and beef, behind a loom... And then you will have tea with pancakes and a heartfelt conversation about Meshchersk antiquity with the owners Alexei and Elena.
