Prince Oleg's Palace

The so-called Palace of Prince Oleg is located on the territory of the Ryazan Kremlin.

In general, the building has nothing to do with Prince Oleg (grandson of Yaroslav the Wise) (he lived several centuries earlier), but is so named only because for many years the coat of arms with the image of the prince hung on the front of the building.

In fact, there were residential chambers of Ryazan bishops for many decades.

The first two floors were built in the middle, and the third floor - at the end of the XVII century.

From the times of the USSR to the present time, the building houses a local history museum.
