Ryazan Embankment
Description:
Along the steep bank of the Trubezh River from the very Ryazan Kremlin and to the Savior-on-Yar temple stretches this beautiful embankment, which offers a delightful view of the floodplains of the Trubezh and Oka rivers.
This is really a favorite place for walks of Ryazan residents - the embankment is located in an unusually beautiful place in the historical center of the city.
All wedding motorcades come here - every Friday and Saturday at the monument to Yesenin and throughout the embankment you can watch the newlyweds celebrating this joyful event with guests. And, as a mandatory ritual - locks on the fence of the embankment.
Once the embankment was longer - beyond the temple of the Savior-on-Yar, but in the process of massive construction in the mid-90s, a microdistrict of elite real estate grew on this place, and access to it was closed.
