Kirica Manor

The estate of Kiritsa (or the former estate of von Derviz) is a bright architectural monument of the late XIX - early XX century. The estate is surrounded by picturesque terrain with ponds and plantings and in combination with beautiful architecture creates a grand ensemble.

After buying the land, Baron von Derviz wished to build a luxurious estate here, with a park extravaganza and exquisite architectural forms. The project was undertaken by architect Fedor Shekhtel. As a result, he managed to create a beautiful castle, beautiful in every detail, even in the consoles of the balcony in the form of an eagle.

The building of the estate was decorated with faceted spires, a cascade of grottoes and magnificent stairs. The territory was decorated with arched bridges, gazebos and a Kremlin wall with teeth. The estate is surrounded by an orchard.

The estate can be called one of the most innovative and original buildings of Russian architecture of the late XIX century.
