Yangan-Tau

"Yangan-Tau" unique balneoclimatic low-mountain resort is located in one of the picturesque corners of the Urals, in the mountains of the northeast of Bashkortostan. It is located at an altitude of 413 meters above sea level. It was in these lands that the legendary hero of the Bashkir people Salavat Yulaev was born and grew up.
The resort was founded in 1937, but its phenomenal properties have been known since time immemorial: the hot breath of the Yangan Tau mountain was described in 1770 by the famous traveler Academician Peter Simon Pallas.
"Burning Mountain" - so translated into Russian sounds the name of the area where grew up and became known to the world resort "Yangan-Tau".

Natural healing factors
The unique geothermal dry and wet gases of the Yangantau mountain, the main therapeutic factor of the resort, with a relative humidity of 45-100%, and dry gases with a relative humidity of 18-30%, are distinguished from the natural depressions and drilled wells of the upper part of the Yangan-Tau mountain. Natural thermal baths have a multilateral effect on the whole body: analgesic, anti-inflammatory, improve muscle tone, contribute to an increase in the volume of movement in the joints and antispasmodic effect. The source of the ascending type in the form of several powerful griffins enters the earth's surface from a depth of 600-800 meters along the tectonically weakened zone of the Juryuzan fault and belongs to the group of "Hydrocarbonate magnesium-calcium" waters, the main ionic composition is close to the waters of the "Naftusya" type, has a constant temperature (+16 ° ± 0.5 C) at any time of the year. The high resort potential of landscape and climatic conditions of the health resort makes it possible to classify it as low-mountain balneoclimatic and widely use year-round climatotherapy as an independent treatment and as a concomitant with balneotherapy. The number of hours of sunshine in the sanatorium "Yangan-Tau" is not inferior, and in some cases exceeds the annual values of the well-known climatic resorts of Russia and Western Europe, located in the zone of temperate latitudes.
