Tsarev Kurgan, there were legends.
Description:
Tsarev Kurgan is located in Samara Luka, near the confluence of Soka into the Volga, on the left bank. In June 1391, Tamerlan (Timur) stopped at its top after the victory over Tokhtamysh in the battle on the Kondurche River.
In the spring of 1722, Peter I, sailing along the Volga to Persia, stopped at the Tsarev mound and put a wooden cross made by his own hands on its top (this cross has not been preserved, a new height of 15 m was built in its place).
In 1824, Emperor Alexander I climbed the mound.
Lenin did not deny himself the pleasure of visiting the summit.
Once there were at least five springs. Only one has survived to this day. The water in it is considered healing and it is named in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Indrinkable Cup”, saving from addictions. We can dip into the font.
Here Leo Tolstoy and Stepan Razin were married.
And a lot of interesting information you will get on this tour.
