Iverian monastery
Description:
Iberian convent was founded in 1850 as a community of sisters of mercy. Despite the fact that in 1925 the monastery was closed and most of the buildings were demolished, now all the buildings have been restored and the monastery is working.
P.V. Alabin (an outstanding figure of the city) is buried on the territory of the monastery.
