About the company:
The museum building is one of the beautiful and ancient buildings of the district, which has recently become its hallmark. It was built in 1885 as a drinking establishment or inn. Its owner was a merchant named Mironov, about whom almost nothing is known. But his tavern was famous throughout the district. And this glory brought him billiards, located in the basement. The stakes here weren't small! There were many people who wanted to play and watch the game! There was a gramophone that was constantly working. The upper floor was used as a living room or as a hotel.
After the owner of the inn was dekulakized, the People’s House was opened in the building. Performances were shown here, dance parties were held, important political issues were discussed. Then, from 1939 to 1981, the State Bank was located within the walls of the building.
The history of the museum begins in 1985, when on the initiative of local historian Rusyaev P.Y. the Museum Council was created. Thanks to his meticulous work on collecting objects, creating collections and designing the exposition, in December 1991, a local history museum was opened. Initially, the museum functioned as a public museum, and since 2001, by the decree of the head of the Bugrov district, V.I. became a municipal museum and received its official name - the historical and local history museum. The grand opening of the museum took place on December 20, 1991.
First of all, the museum is the only institution in the area where you can get acquainted with the history of the village, its people, cultural and archaeological heritage. Artistically, the aesthetic design of the museum exposition is peculiar. It was created in Soviet times, and the main method of its construction was the thematic method. The architectural features of the building also had a significant impact. Nevertheless, a single color scheme, lighting, lack of modern digital technologies in the exposition do not repel, but on the contrary, emphasize its historical character, and from the first minutes of stay in the museum transfer the viewer to another dimension.
