Samara Literary Museum

Samara Literary and Memorial Museum named after M. Gorky is a unique place on the cultural map of Samara, uniting several exhibition spaces. The main exposition of the museum - "Life and work of A.N. Tolstoy" - includes a memorial apartment of the writer's family, and also tells in detail about his life in Samara and presents the main stages of the literary ascent. A separate hall of the museum “Tolstoy: Change of Optics”, opened in 2020, reveals the personality of Alexey Tolstoy through five vivid images.

The museum constantly operates two interactive spaces, which host excursions for children - "Adventure with Buratino" and "Meet Findus". All year round, the museum has temporary exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, master classes, creative meetings and thematic events.
