Leningrad Zoo
About the company:
The Leningrad Zoo is a unique place. This place is a kind of wildlife reserve - one of the few zoos in the world located so far to the north.
Since the zoo was opened in 1865, it has managed to preserve a special historical grandeur and is a representative of the historical architectural heritage of the center of St. Petersburg. Residents and guests of the capital, who visited this zoological park, will not remain indifferent.
Despite the fact that it is currently quite small in area and one of the smallest among all zoos in Russia, this does not prevent the animals of 644 species, representatives of the fauna of almost every continent, from getting along here. The total number of specimens is more than 3700 individuals.
