Two suburbs in one day. Tsarskoye Selo - Pavlovsk
Description:
Pavlovsk is the favorite residence of Maria Feodorovna, the wife of Paul I. Everything here was subordinated to her refined taste, and after the death of her beloved mother, her august children sought to preserve the residence as much as possible as during her lifetime. The last owner of the residence was the grandson of Alexander II, Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich, known as the poet K.R., and his son, John Konstantinovich, whose life was tragically cut short in Alapayevsk as a result of the Red Terror. On the eve of the Great Patriotic War, a unique operation was carried out in Pavlovsk to evacuate museum exhibits, so about 80% of the original collection was preserved.
From Pavlovsk we will go to the main residence of the Russian emperors - Tsarskoye Selo. The palace and park ensemble of Tsarskoye Selo cannot leave anyone indifferent. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. An amazing combination of lush Baroque and noble classicism, regular and landscape parks. There is a unique harmony from the combination of different styles. After all, the best architects worked on palaces, pavilions and a unique park. And, of course, the pearl of Tsarskoye Selo is the recreated Amber Room.
The price includes:
A fascinating car trip to two imperial country residences - sophisticated and aristocratic Pavlovsk and lush, ceremonial Tsarskoye Selo.
In addition, tickets to parks and palaces are paid. I have the opportunity to arrange tickets for passage through the gates for organized tourist groups, bypassing the general queue to the Catherine Palace.
