New Holland is the only man-made island in St. Petersburg, created in the XVIII century by decree of Peter the Great. Buildings built for the needs of the fleet have repeatedly changed their purpose and appearance. After a long desolation, the island has become one of the most attractive urban spaces for both tourists and citizens.
