Excursion to Tsarskoye Selo, Pavlovsk and Gatchina

Grand tour of the imperial residences of the 18th century. Three palace and park complexes, each with its own unique history, architecture and landscape solution. Catherine Park and Palace, Old Dutch Garden and English Park, the best landscape park in Europe – Pavlovsk Park, a sample of Russian classical architecture – Pavlovsk Palace, medieval castle with a dungeon – Grand Gatchina Palace.

Programme:

9.00 Departure from St. Petersburg from St. m. Nevsky Prospekt (Arts Square, 3).

Pushkin (Tsarskoye village) walk through the Catherine Park with an external inspection of the Catherine Palace.

Pavlovsk. Pavlovsk Park and Pavlovsk Palace with an excursion (if possible - restrictions of 2020) to both the state halls and the private rooms of the imperial family.

Gatchina. Excursion tour of Gatchina Park with access to the Silver Lake and water labyrinths OR a walk through the Gatchina Palace (castle) with a visit to the dungeon.

19:00 Arrival at station m. Nevsky Prospekt.
