"How the Road of Life Worked."
Description:
We will go with you by car from St. Petersburg on the way of life - the thin thread along which food, goods, fuel and manpower were delivered to besieged Leningrad in order to defend the city and not surrender it to the enemy.
We will visit two museums, drive 100 kilometers along the strategic military highway VAD-101. We will make a few stops at the monuments, where we will lay flowers at the monument "Ruptured Ring" and almost a minute of silence in memory of the heroes who worked on the road of life.
The first stop on our journey will be on Rumbolovskaya mountain. It is one of the many places dedicated to the years of war. The territory of the park zone is decorated in the style of a military airfield and is dedicated to the memory of pilots who worked in the air to protect the transport corridor. We will sit in a real dugout surrounded by artillery guns, consider the model of the transport aircraft DB-3 and the model of the legendary army soldier car "GAZ-AA" - "half"
On the shore of the lake we will make a stop for laying flowers at the monument "Ruptured Ring" and honor the memory of a minute of silence of the heroes who worked on the road of life.
