Kronstadt as a shield of the Russian state

Description:

on the forts and streets of the city of military glory

Friends, I suggest you go by car from St. Petersburg on a one-day excursion tour, and visit the I-class fortress with a rich military, scientific, historical and spiritual history.

This quiet and cozy city has been defending St. Petersburg from the Baltic Sea for more than three hundred years. Thanks to the defenders of Kronstadt, Leningrad survived the Great Patriotic War. The best fortifiers created an insurmountable barrier for enemy ships. I will tell you an interesting history of the formation of the Navy, which began with the Russian Tsar Peter the Great.

We will visit the main city attractions: Fort Konstantin where we will admire the atmospheric seascapes and feel the breath of the Baltic Sea, the public space "Island of Forts" where we sway on the coastal swing and in the coastal binoculars we will consider the water area of the Finnish Gulf, walk in Petrovsky Park and the Summer Garden, at Anchor Square we will definitely go to the Nikolsky Sea Cathedral and the Admiralty.

Walking through the city streets, parks and bridges you will be interested to learn the history of the construction of the Petrovsky dock, the scale of the engineering structure which will amaze many. At the Kronstadt footstock we will find a memorial sign of the besieged stickle, a small fish that saved residents during the Great Patriotic War. In Petrovsky Park we will admire the Finnish Gulf and take a photo at the monument to the founder of the city.
