About Lakhta Center

Lakhta Center is the highest skyscraper in Russia and Europe, 462 meters high. The tower has 87 aboveground and 3 underground floors. Located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in the Primorsky district of the Northern capital. Today Lakhta Center is one of the main modern symbols of St. Petersburg. Innovative technologies were used in the construction, the skyscraper was awarded a large number of awards and even got into the Guinness Book of Records for the longest continuous pouring of concrete (49 hours). Currently, the tower is closed to visitors, finishing works are underway inside the building. The observation deck of Lakhta Center is located at an altitude of 360 meters, the date of its opening is not yet known. This will happen after the completion of all works and the official opening of the complex. The observation deck will have a circular view with panoramic glazing and will be the highest in Europe.

In addition to the offices of Gazprom, a panoramic restaurant at an altitude of 320 meters, a planetarium, and an interactive children's research center will open in Lakhta Center. Also on the territory adjacent to the tower there will be an open-air amphitheater with 2,000 seats. During the tour you will visit the already open public space near the skyscraper: the park near the Lakhta harbor and the new embankment of the Gulf of Finland, which stretches for 600 meters. The space is equipped with recreation areas, benches, observation platforms, swings and even devices for wireless charging of mobile phones.
