If you come to St. Petersburg in the summer, you simply can not visit Peterhof! In Peterhof you can go by meteor along the Gulf of Finland. Meteors depart every hour directly from the city center. In addition, you can visit the Grand Peterhof Palace, or one of the small palaces in the Lower Park.
