Our way to Staraya Russa will pass through historical places, one of which is the ancient village of Korostyn, where we will make a short stop! The most famous place is a natural attraction called Ilmensky Glint: a geological monument that allows you to enjoy the expanses of Lake Ilmen from the most favorable angle. Also here we will see the Traveling Palace of Alexander I, built according to the project of the famous architect V.P. Stasov and the barn, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, see another memorable place designated today with a wooden cross-there, where the tent of the Grand Duke Ivan Vasilyevich – Gatherer of the Russian Land stood, it was here that the Grand Duke laid the foundation for the real creation of a single centralized Russian state.
