SECRETS OF THE PETROPALOV FORTRESS
Description:
The tour in detail introduces the unique monument of architecture, which marked the beginning of the history of St. Petersburg. From here began the history of the city.
Built on the orders of Peter I, the fortress became the first building of the city and still preserves the spirit of its great founder. During the tour we will get acquainted with the history of its creation, features of fortification, as well as monuments located on the territory. We will make wishes and witness the spectacular city tradition - the noon shot, which is made daily at 12.00 from the Naryshkin Bastion. At the request of guests, a walk through the territory of the fortress can be supplemented by a visit to the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the tomb of the Imperial House of Romanov and the prison of the Trubetsk Bastion.
