Description:
St. Isaac’s Cathedral is one of the symbols of the city, a real architectural masterpiece, the center of religious life of St. Petersburg and the stone museum.
The history of the creation of St. Isaac’s Cathedral is fascinating and interesting, shrouded in many legends and myths, which is not accidental, because the construction of such a structure took as much as 40 years! But this is not the only cathedral in honor of St. George. Isaac, which was built in our city.
St. Isaac’s Cathedral is unique in everything: it is a dome, chic columns, bas-reliefs and sculptures and, of course, its interiors. During the tour you will see this more than once.
We'll take a walk around the cathedral. We will see the Invisible Bridge, a building that was jokingly compared to Bavarian sausages, learn why one of the buildings of the square is associated with the death of the Titanic and much, much more.
If you wish, you can visit the colonnade of St. Isaac’s Cathedral, which offers a wonderful view of the center of St. Petersburg.
