It is located between the Senate Square and the New Admiralty Canal.

Description:

In different periods, the English embankment bore the names of the Lower Coast, Isaac, Galernaya. But in the XVIII century, it began to settle English merchants, with the funds of which the Anglican Church was built (now House No. 56 does not operate). In 1918-94, the street was called the Red Fleet Embankment.

The street consists of houses of high architectural and artistic value. Among the most outstanding buildings are the house of Countess Laval, the mansion of the Tenishevs, Rumyantsev, the building of the College of Foreign Affairs, the building of the Government Senate, where the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation is now located.
