Description:

The Church of St. Peter is a Lutheran temple built in St. Petersburg in the 30s of the nineteenth century. The petrikirche was built in the Romanesque style according to the project of the Russian architect and painter A. Bryullov. In order for the architectural solution of the church to complement the existing ensemble of the center of the Northern capital, the authors included in the design of the facade and elements of the classicism style inherent in many buildings of St. Petersburg.

Initially, in the premises adjacent to the church, the Petrichule School worked, where such famous people as, for example, composers Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky studied.

Route taxis No. 10 and No. 191, as well as buses No. 3 and No. 7 will take tourists to the famous attraction. You can also get to St. Peter’s Church by trolley bus No. 10.
