Description:
Marley Palace, located in the city of St. Petersburg, is the main attraction of the Lower Park (western part). It got its unusual name thanks to Peter the Great, who visited a French residence, similarly named.
It looks very elegant, elegant, as if floating in the air. Due to successful architectural calculations, the proportions of the palace look unusual, reflected in the mirror of the ponds. People like it not because of its richness and splendor, but because of its uniqueness.
Once upon a time, immediately after its construction, the palace was used as a guest house for famous persons or members of the royal family. However, over time, it began to turn into a museum. It kept many personal belongings of Emperor Peter the Great, preserved to this day.
During the war, Marley Palace was destroyed, but by the end of the 20th century again began to receive guests and visitors.
