Description:
In St. Petersburg, the Finnish railway bridge of strategic purpose connects the two banks of the Neva River. Only railway transport moves on the bridge. There is a bridge between the nearby Volodarsky Bridge and the Alexander Nevsky Bridge. On the left is the avenue of Obukhovskaya Defense, and on the right bank stretches the October embankment.
In 2003, a double-track sliding bridge was opened after reconstruction. Work was carried out to strengthen and update the structures. In the evening, the openwork construction of the bridge with attractive illumination stands out.
The bridge is located near the metro stations Novocherkasskaya and Alexander Nevsky Square.
