Umbrella fungus fountain

Fountain-jootyha is not the only fountain in Peterhof. Such fountains are located in the right half of the park. It is not difficult to find them, because they are all close to each other. Fountains are not only tourist attractions, but also a wonderful rest and entertainment for children. Taking umbrellas or raincoats, children hide from the water, but still come out absolutely wet and satisfied. In the fountain "Umbrella" you can dive and stand under it.

Previously, such fountains, built in the Baroque style, decorated the park and entertained guests during masquerades and balls. The Chinese umbrella was created in 1796 by Brower and Keiser. Initially, the fountain had the form of a wooden carved flower, erected on a pole. Under the umbrella is a bench, and on the edge of the roof of the fountain of 164 tubes beat jets of water.
