Description:

Catherine Park was laid out in front of the Alexandrinsky Theatre in the 1820s by the project of K. Rossi and is part of the ensemble of Ostrovsky Square. Since then, the park has grown and expanded, and only twelve years after its foundation acquired the outlines that can be seen today.

The garden is limited by a grate, the gate of which is decorated with decorative details in the form of monograms of Catherine the Great.
