Pioneer Park in the city of St. Petersburg
st. Petersburg, Piskarevsky Pr., D.32
Description:
Pioneer Park is located in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg.
Once the lands occupied by the Pioneer Park, as well as the park named after academician Sakharov, located next door, belonged to Prince Abamelek-Lazarev.
Opened in 1968, the Pioneer Park is named after the nearby House of Pioneers (now called the House of Children and Youth Creativity of the Kalinin District).
The park is equipped with a playground and a place for pioneer lines, which almost collapsed. Children's and adolescent game events and competitions are often arranged on the site, as well as various holidays are held.
In addition, the Pioneer Park is remarkable for its abundance of vegetation: among the trees you can find oaks, lime trees, poplars, birch trees, mountain ash and many others. And also in the park every year the most beautiful flower beds with flowers are planted, and along small alleys there are benches for walking.
