Seaside Park
Krestovsky Island, St. Petersburg
Description:
From the north and south, the park faces directly to the sea and is bounded by the coastlines of the island. In the center of the park there is a beautiful square, from which, like the rays of the sun, alleys diverge to all corners of the park. By the richness of vegetation, the Primorsky Park is comparable to the St. Petersburg Botanical Garden. There are 6 ponds in the park, one of which is often called “Swan Lake”, as it serves as a swan nursery and is the habitat of a large number of swans.
Extended shady alleys and quiet park ponds are perfectly combined with entertainment attractions, numerous cafes and restaurants. There is also a free ice rink with an area of 3000 square meters. Also in the park, in memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, a real dot (long-term firing point) is preserved.
You can get to the park by metro to the station "Krestovsky Island", or by car.
