The middle alley in the city of St. Petersburg
Description:
The middle alley is the so-called street on Stone Island in the Neva River Delta in St. Petersburg, which originates from the intersection of the Side Alley and the embankment of the Malaya Nevka River and runs to the 2nd Birch Alley. Its length is 470 meters. At the beginning of the XX century it bore another name and was known as the Great Alley, at that time it stretched to the Big Nevka. However, in 1933 it was renamed and given its present name, and the former name was given to the neighboring alley, which was more worthy of it. And the former Big got its new, more modest name.
The main attractions of the Middle Alley are the Quiet Rest Park, which is an object of cultural heritage of Russia and a children's art school.
