Moscow Avenue was born at the end of the XX century. It was the road that led to the royal village. The prospectus was renamed many times, and it received its current name in 1956.
Now the length of the avenue is about 9.5 km. Along Moscow Avenue there are many beautiful architectural monuments. So, there are apartment houses, a complex of buildings "Capital yard", Resurrection Novodevichy Monastery and other historical buildings. On the avenue you can also see the famous Moscow Triumphal Gate, reminiscent of the Paris Arc de Triomphe. The gate was erected in honor of the victory in the Russian-Turkish war and the suppression of the uprising in Poland, which was then part of the Russian Empire.
